Quick question about Klasse SG and Sig II carnuba

Trim should be fine, but there are always exceptions, especially older dried out trim. SigII will work fine on KSG, but you won't be able to add more KSG. For me KSG keeps getting better up to 5-6 layers.

I've only used the SG, and it didn't stain trim for me, and you CAN top SG with any wax you like, but probably better off layering like already mentioned

Do either of these leave white residue on black trim? And I assume its ok to put Sig II on top of KSG?

Thanks

Both will leave a faint residue if you let them dry before buffing them off, but said residue will usually wipe off OK.

BUT to be on the safe side I use the W-O-W-O method where the products don't dry before they're buffed off. This works fine on trim for me and the diffs in durability are minimal, though I do shoot for as many layers of KSG as possible (which I do anyhow).

I would *NOT* top KSG when used on trim (not that I top it anyhow, if I don't like the look I'll just use something else). Rather, reapply/add more KSG regularly so you don't have to start over from scratch. You might try refreshing it with Sonus Acrylic Spritz too, or AutoInt/ValuGard Fast Finish.

I already screwed up. I applied a single coat of KSG then I topped it 2 hours later with Sig II. :mmph:
