QUICK HELP! Mothers clay/instant detail follow w/ 4 star?

I should have researched this earlier! Car is just washed and dry...but its 10pm and i'm running out of time! I used megs 80 and 4 star upp a month ago on my mom's car.



I wanted to put another quick coat of upp on the roof and hood tonight, but it was rougher than i hoped for. I just hit the entir hood/roof with mothers clay and used the mothers quick detail(in red spray bottle) as a lubricant..



Can i go strait to the upp or will it not stick now?

You can go to the UPP, Im just worried your going to be hiding some marring from the clay. UPP performs better either atop itself or on a sterile surface.......What color car? I mean if slight marring isnt an issue, you can top it. I dont think your going to get the same durability with a QD coating underneath it though.....
