I just applied ultima pgp and it started to rain 2 minutes after i finished! What shall i do? Will i get spots? Should i wipe the car ? it has stopped raining now.

I would get the water off asap. If you have a leaf blower, use that. Otherwise, I would just wipe the water off with a WW towel.

Hmm.. I dunno, Rob. I really don't think the water is going to hurt the UPGP. It's more likely to damage it by wiping it with an MF than letting the water dry up. After the UPGP has cured for 12 hours, an MF isn't going to hurt it. On fresh UPGP, though, you stand a pretty good chance of smearing it. The water isn't gonna hurt anything if it dries. Any spotting will be easily removed in the next wash.

If something like that happens, I just rewash and apply again. You'll only waste another 30 mins of your time. That's the beauty of WOWA products. Easy to apply and let dry.

It has happened to me after using UPGP. I just let it sit for 12 hrs. and then did a quick ONR wash. QD with 425 and it looked real good. If it makes you feel any better, put another coat, it only takes a few minutes to do.

Yeah, I don't know if it would hurt the UPGP or not. That wasn't my concern. My concern was water spotting.

I would think that the curing process has already been compromised by the fact that the paint is wet.

I would just go ahead and wash the car now, and reapply the upgp.

Yeah, that's probably the very best thing to do.
