Quick DWG Application Question

I just got some DWG which I will top with UPGP.



I will be using a foam applticator by hand with the DWG. I know how much DWG to use from their directions and this forum, as well as how to apply and remove.



My question is - should I leave the foam applicator dry or should I moisten it for the DWG application?

Moistening the foam will help prevent the DWG to soak in, which means more product applied to the car. I personally use it dry and have no problems

I have done it both ways, wet pad and dry pad. Worked about the same. Trick is to apply it thin.
