Questions on black

I have read many posts about the best combo for black. All of this reading has made me confused though.

I bought the propel pads 1 each of orange, yellow, green, blue and grey/black.

My paint is in good condition except for my hood which a local body shop filled with swirls after repairing some accident damage. I was going to clay and then just use VM but my reading has taught me that I need other prep work first.

So I was thinking 2.5 with yellow pad then green pad to get the swirls out, then VM, and then maybe souverin. Should I do more for better results or is doing more overkill. Any help is surely appreciated.

Yellow + 2.5 is a pretty strong combination. Depending on how bad your swirlies are, I would suggest using a less aggressive approach. May be 2.5 wiith green first. If that doesn't work, move to a more agressive pad.

For my black truck, I like SSR 2.5 orange -- AIO -- SG X2 -- EX -- Natty's, Soveran, P21S or s100

EX is real nice though!
