question regarding menz acrylic one step/p21s application

hopefully, the products i ordered arrive this week and i can spend the weekend blissfully sealing and waxing my way to heaven with my new ride. two questions: 1) i washed my car today after picking it up (125 miles away) and noticed some "lines" on the roof and hood panels which on closer inspection i think is some adhesive? from the plastic sheeting that is placed on the top panels of cars when transported. it comes off if i rub vigorously with my finger. will the menzerna one step acrylic take this off or do i need to use another product such as a paint cleaner? 2) i read in the review that the menzerna one step can leave staining of the moldings. outside of taping, are there any suggestions of what to use to remove any of this product if it gets on the moldings? thanks again.

I heard good things about GR-40 for wax stains. I'm going to pick some up soon to get stains off of my car that I hit by accident. I did not have time to mask that day now I have to buy something else and hop it fixes it. It's probably easier for you just to mask out before you work on it. Either way you are going to spend time on clean up or masking out. If you mask out you don't have to hope something else will get the stains out.
As far as the adhesive goes. A good APC will remove it. I always used Goo gone for stuff like that. It works good and never had any ill effects using it on a car. It got stickers off my kitchen wood kitchen table from my daughter.

I have debadged several cars and goo gone is the only thing I found to remove the adhesive completely. It has worked really well for me. It was the only thing that removed the plastic shopping bag melted to my wifes door handle. When I finished I wash the area well with car shampoo to remove any residue. I have yet to see any ill-effects on car paints.
