Alright, I just got an 04 honda accord thats white in color. We got the car down in florida, and I have a feeling it was sitting outside for quite a while, because it seems like there is a light haze of dirt on the truck area, some rain drops embedded in the paint etc. The hood also looks pretty worn too. Anywho, I thought using a clay bar would surely clean it up, so I tested out a part on the trunk with some old clay I had in the garage and it didnt do anything.... any tips?

Sounds like it's sun faded slightly and dirt has embedded itself on top of the paint from being so dry. If it were my car, I would:

1st - White wash it with APC and yellow brick bub sponge.

2nd - Red Clay Magic.

3rd - Polish the heck out of it with a wool pad.

4th - Foam pad glaze.

5th - LSP of choice.

Keep an oily coat of wax on it to build up the finish.
