Question on polishes

Just got in Menzerna IP and Optimum polish....using a rotary...do ya polish till the material disappears or not?

Like with 3M machine glaze ya polish till the material is completely gone......just a example....?

I really want to make sure that I use these correctly these 2 come highly recommended...
 
Don't know about the Optimum, but the IP should be worked until it is "almost" dry... it will start turning translucent. Start with slower speeds of around 1000 - 1200 RPM until you've used the product a few times to get a feel for it. I run my rotary considerably faster with it... but don't recommend you do that unless you are "real" comfortable with a rotary and the product.
