question for uk autopians re autosmart

My smartool aka cyclo is winging its way to me as we speak so ive rung autosmart to order some new pads.



My area rep was quite excited about the fact i was getting a smartool and i couldnt get him off the phone.... hes told me loads of tips and mods that might need doing etc etc.



Anyway, he said to wait till the smartool is here as it depending on age may require a rubber velcro backing. He said when i get it, if i bring it to work he will meet me at work in the van and i can buy what i need from him off the van, which i though was brilliant!



What pads should i get? and how many? i'll get some finishing pads but i think i'll need some general purpose/light duty ones too.



Also, do autosmart make any other good products worth getting while hes here? its all trade stuff so i have no experience of their products at all.

Andy, I can tell you that autosmart pads are very expensive, I think I was qouted 1.50 each (3.00+VAT a pair for the cyclo) - it is probably worth paying the shipping and getting them from the states IMO (this is what I did by the way).

PS Autosmarts G2 polish is quite good to be used with a rotary, seems quite effective and has oils that keep it lubricated for a long time, I think it was 8.00 a litre bottle.
