Question for Cyclo users

I use the bonnets if I am using some product that might be a pain to get off by hand. Otherwise I just do it by hand with a microfiber towel. For applying I just use their foam pads. However, that is just my way, I am sure others do it different.

Unless you have some product really stuck on the paint, removal should be done by hand. Removal by the MF bonnets can cause marring in some cases.

I use MF bonnets to remove *LSPs* by Cyclo almost every time, using suede-style MF bonnets that I got from TOL. I hear the DFTowel bonnets will work too, those oughta be really nice for this.

I have some plush MF bonnets (Cobra IIRC) but they aren't quite gentle enough for use on *my* vehicles; I use them on freebie-details.

Removing *polish* residue by Cyclo seems a little tricky. I use the plush bonnets for that (with the acceptance that I probably won't get a perfect finish) and I switch from the application-Cyclo to the removal-Cyclo quickly so the polish doesn't dry too much. Again, this is just for freebies, not for *my* vehicles. The bonnets sure load up fast when used for polish removal, but I have a scad of them.

I *would* advice people to take Percynjapan's warning to heart though, if you *do* get some contamination on there the machine will really mar things up. If you *don't* then it'll turn out swell...you make your choices and you take your chances ;)
