Question? Applying Klasse SG after AIO

it would be a bad idea to use any detailing product in a dusty garage, chances are you will scrub the dust into the finish when it comes to removal

you dont have to let sg sit 24hrs...many people use a wipe on ,wipe off method...or let it sit for a while and remove...have a search on it ,theres lots of info about it

yeah . . . good avice here. the wiped off product is usually what most of us let "cure" before appling a topper or exposing the car to harsh weather. I personally just Wipe on and then wipe off. I usually do the car in 4 sections, so the KSG has a small window to "set" before I wipe it off. I have personally attested to the many suggestions of 8-10 hours for the buffed off KSG to cure. 24 hours may be excesive with the exception of very cold detailing conditions. I just applied a coat of AIO KSG yesterday and i let it stay in my garage overnight for about 9 hours. Its good to go....no streaking, blotches, etc, etc.

I use AIO and SG and my garage is dusty. I have never had a problem.

What I do is apply the SG (I let it sit for 24 hours) and then very lightly

run a MF towel over it to get the dust off, then I rub the SG off. :heelclick

i thought you leave the SG on...then apply a layer of wax. So after leaving it to dry after 9-24 hours, I use a dry to wipe it off?

I think that blowing the dust will just allow the dust particles to be airborne. Perhaps a better idea would be to vacuum the dust out? If you don't have a vacuum, I guess you could blow the dust and then allow it to settle for a few hours.

I've had better luck using a broom to get dust out than using a blower - the blower gets the fine particles up in the air, which then takes forever to settle.

Not tried, but how about a mist of water sprayed in the air and on the floor? I would think it wouldn't take much - just enough to settle out airborne dust and keep foot movement from kicking up dust on the floor.

You want to wipe the SG off. What I do is SG the whole car and let it sit for about 24 hours or so. Then I wipe it all off as good as I can. I then come back and use a QD mist and wipe the whole car down. I do that about 3-4 times until I have 3-4 layers of SG on the car. After all the SG is wiped off and the car is QD misted and cleaned, I then apply the wax.
