Question about Zymol Royale

Hey everyone,

Looong time lurker, first time poster. First off, a big thanks to everyone on this forum. There is such a huge amount of great info to be had here, it's just amazing.

Now the question... I have been reading everything I can find on the 'net about Zymol's Royale $7,118 carnauba wax. I have been seriously considering buying it, then doing a few (like 70!) personal reference details with it to help defray the cost. I have only one remaining concern: the summers where I live tend to be very hot and dry. I have read various places that carnauba will melt, breakdown, and wash off the car very easily in the summer heat. I'm wondering if the high white carnauba content (supposedly white carnauba has a higher melting point and hardness than yellow) of the Royale wax will prevent this from being an issue. I don't want to be charging Royale-level prices for a wax job that will only last 30 days in the summer sun.

Any input on this would be much appreciated.

Also, I would love to do an experiment with it... do a Royale job on my own car, then watch what happens to it over the summer. If there is anyone in Utah that would allow me to use their Royale (of course I would pay handsomely for it) to do my car for this experiment, please PM me. I would also be very happy to pay someone for a few ounces of it and have it shipped to my house.

It's very difficult to make the final plunge for that much coin without personally seeing the results and longevity.

Thanks for any help and input!
