Question about topping...

For the past 2 days, Ive been working on and off on my C5, wash, clay, Wolfgang polish and sealant. The Wolfgang is EXCELLENT on red I might add  Anyways, after doing the sealant, I took the car on a little trip out of town last night and afterwards, but it back in the garage and shut the door. Would it be safe for me to go dust off my car with a Cali Car Duster and proceed to put on a topping of S100, or should I wait until I can wash it again to make sure nothing gets on it and creates swirls? Thanks.

Sure, just dust ,not mop with the CCD.(if there's anything a little more than dust, QD first) Make very light, unidirectional sweeps with it and shake the duster after each sweep. Take your time and do this methodically. It should be fine.

If I didn't drive much and it wasn't too dusty, and if the car didn't dew over, I guess I would be ok with dusting, qd'ing, and then s100.

The car was driven about 100 miles last night, but no dew was on it. I took my g/f to visit her grandma in a hospital and most of the time, the car was parked in a parking deck rather than outside to collect dew.

Im not sure if I have enough QD left over from claying to do the whole car. I dusted it off a little bit ago, and there was little visible dust on the car, except a little on the back end where it tends to collect when I drive. I might just play it safe and S100 it later in the week.
