Question about polishing pads

I recently purchased the Adams black / white polishing pads and was wondering how do i clean them after I use it?

Also, when using the pads with a PC, what speed should I use it on? I'm using the Revive and the Scratch and Swirl remover by Adams and I still have some spider webbing. I used a 50/50 ratio of scratch and swirl remover and the revive but got only a slight result. I had the speed on 5.

When applying wax, should I slow down the PC or does it matter? I felt comfortable with the speed setting 5, so I applied Zaino on 5 with the white pad. Is that ok or should I slow down the PC?

I'm sure the answer is somewhere in the forum, but the search feature seems to be down for a couple of days.

You can clean almost any pad by dunking them in a bucket of soapy water and let them soak for awhile. Then rinse them out making sure you squeeze all the soapy water and product. Then lay them flat to dry.

In a pinch you can put a "dab" of soap directly on the pad and wash it out in a sink.

thanks morbid. My question about using the polishing pad still remains. What speed should I polish with on the Adam's black and white pad? Should I lower the speed for the white pad when I apply wax?
