Question About Paint (w/ Pics)

Okay, today I got my car to the point of pretty much swirl-free. Besides my new found appreciation for those who do this all the time (my back hurts), I noticed some things on my paint I was curious about. I do not believe they can be removed without a repaint, but let me know what you think. Now, this car is a 94 with 164,000 miles, original paint. :nervous:

I'm not too shure how to fix it. It reminds me of a 87 black mustang 5.0 I did a little while ago, had the same types of problems. I tried, SSR2.5 and megs heavy cut compound with no luck. Not shure what else to do. BTW I detailed it quickly for him because he had to show it to a potential buyer later that day. I was able to hide them more, but not get rid of them. I'm shure others will have better advise though.

Looks like rock chips, but to be sure, gently run your fingernail along

the affected areas to see it it catches. If so, then there's not much else

you can do, save for repainting, and/or touch ups. If the areas do not catch

your fingernail, then you have something bonded to the paint, that you'll need

to remove with polish or something a bit more aggressive. like a compound.
