Question about paint from other cars...

Atrocity

New member
Okay, a friend of mine recently got her car swiped by another fault, and she naturally came to ask me to help. I checked it out. There's some scratches on it, but that's not what I'm asking about. What I need to know is this: Anybody know a good way to remove the paint from the other car that hit hers without removing her own paint? Like the paint from the other car is on top of hers, so I'm trying to figure out what to do. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I had good results removing some old "paint transfers" with Poorboys SSR-2 by hand.
Hope this helps!

Depending on how bad it is and how much paint your talking about . A swirl remover would work on it . Something like PoorBoys SSR 2 , SSR 2.5 or SSR 3 which is the most abrasive of the three. If your doing this by hand you could use a terry towel which in and of itself is abrasive. Don't forget to finish the job with a polish like SSR1 . Good luck
