Question about maintenance with EXP and Natty's

I was not able to wash my car last week-end and may not this either.
But with a 3 day week-end coming up, maybe I can finally finish my protection procedure!!

So, right now I have a couple layers of EXP on my car.
It's got a nice shine on it.
We finally got a bit of rain last week and it was nice to see the little rain droplets on the car.
QD andor SW for the bug guts and tree sap.

Can I just put another layer or two of EXP next week?
Will the EXP last me through the summer?
I know I won't want to work on the car when it is hot.

I have Natty's, but do I even bother to use it?
I can't put on any more EXP once the wax is on, correct?
A few layers of Natty's won't last through the summer, correct?

I want the best paint protection from the Florida sun.

Thanks again guys,
Suzanna

In your situation I would suggest a wash on the long weekend. After washing put on a layer of your EXP. Next day use S&W to clean the surface of any dust or pollen. Then apply another layer of EXP.

Your vehicle will be protected for a number of months if not more. Especially if you wash periodically. Using a good QD in between washes will also be of help to you maintenance.

Not everyone is willing to take the time to QD everyday. I do it because it is fun for me. Others consider it a chore. The one thing that I do know about taking care of my vehicle is that the more I do it the easier it is to keep doing it. If there is hardly any build up it takes less time to make it look shiny again. If you wait a week to do a clean up one must take care to not marr the paint surface because of all the build up that has accumulated. Good wash techniques will mitigate the marring potential.

After a few months of weekly washing you might consider applying a coat of Natty's to get you thru the summer before you strip of all wax and sealant and re-apply your sealant for the fall and winter.

I agree with cwcad with the above regimen. I applied two coats of EX and then use the Natty's as a topper. I apply several coats of Natty's thru the summer until I have to strip, clay, polish and seal again. Natty's is so easy to use, I just put a coat on every 3 or 4 weeks and keep it popin with QD.
I think the QD replaces some of the oils that evaporate from the wax and keeps it looking deep.
