Question about "less agressive"

I have some minor swirling on a 5 month old black car which I would like to get rid of. I understand the wisdom of starting less aggressive but here is my question. Originally I had intended to clay and then prep with IP using an orange LC pad, followed by FP II with a white LC then topped off w/ Z5 pro. If I want to start "less aggressive" do I skip IP and go right to FP II or do I use IP with a white pad then FPII with a white pad. Maybe I'm just being "thick" but I'm not sure just how to strat less aggressive. Thanks for the input.

Either of those approaches would be less aggressive and it's hard to say which will be aggressive *enough*.

If you have a bunch of pads I'd just experiment. Note that no matter what you're gonna end up using FPII/white so I'd just see if that'll do it all by itself (sorta doubt it).
