I'm detailing my mother-in-law's White '03 Camry tonight and tomorrow (keeping it overnight). She's only giving me about $20 to help out with the price of products I use. On my car, durability isn't really an issue since I was about once a month and my car is garaged. This means, I might have to buy some new products, but don't have time to order stuff. Her car's outside 24/7 so I need good durability. I have Sonus SFX-2 and 3 on order but won't be here in time so was planning on doing the following process.
Tonight:
Wash
Claymagic Claybar
Meg's #9 by hand
1 coat of NXT Paste
Tomorrow:
1 coat of Meg's #26
My question is about the durability of this process. Will there be any bonding issues with the #9 under the NXT? Durability is more important than looks on this one, since she probably won't have me do it again for 6 months or more. THe only products that I actually have at this point is the claybar and NXT so I can easily substitute the other products with different OTC products. Suggestions would be great. Thanks.
I've also heard good things about #21 but can't find it locally. Would #20 have anywhere near the same durability as 21?
