question about daily up keep

Im looking to find out if there might be saved topic on this but, my story is pretty simple.

I live in an apartment and no where to park my car out of mother natures way...so i try to wash as often as possible.

Right now it rains every couple days leaves are everywhere and my car takes a dive real quick.

I want to clean it off but don't have the time to give it a full wash.

What is the best method to keep the car clean with out doing more damage, my paint is bad but don't really want it worse.

I had been using QD with a micorfiber but just am not sure, needing the wisdom of autopia here!

thanks

David

Using a QD is ok if it's not too dirty. A quick ONR wash only takes me 20 min. and I don't have to drag out the hose.

The problem for me right now is i don't get home until after dark and really can't see what im doing, my complex hasn't fixed the light near where i park, its been that way for 6 mos:bat.

I was looking at prices for ONR last night and was going to get some ASAP.

The one thing that really has set this off has been my car sits at school then gets covered in wet leaves, which are known to have lots of nice acids and such, also leaving nice little puddles that streak all over the car on my short ride home.

So that is where im at, would it be better to leave it and try to wash once a week, keeping using QD, or some other new method that im not thinking of?

A car cover was definitely an idea i was having but don't really see it being practical to use at school, but some might say if it means that much then i should use a cover.

was also thinking about what others have said that covers also do damage if the car isn't spotless, since my car is not anywhere near any kind of show quality.

thanks

i really don't need any more attention to my property i already had a bike stolen from on campus, and the college student i am don't really have enough time to put a car cover on before class in the morning.

Guess you need to find a new parking spot.

that's what i'll be doing.. i currently live in a condo with underground parking.. no leave or rain but i still get dust so i'm looking to move to a house or townhouse with garage.

Thats what i was thinking to do, using qd and then weekend to use onr. I was used to having my car garaged for so long and now i guess i have to get used to having dirty more often then not. Thanks for the ideas and help
