Quack *details* a Bentley with 409 and a rag...and he's a PRO

I think you'll find that there are a lot of people out there that call themselves "professionals" or "experts". I do get a kick out of the fact that he just doses the interior of a 200K car with no shame.
 
At that point, I think the owner is asking for it. There is no limit to how blatantly stupid someone can be, is there?
 
All your waxes, from Turtle Wax to McGuires Waxes to Simoniz all the major waxes they are basically all the same. They use different advertisement, but they are all the same thing.

Then what you want to do is, come back with a polish wax. Which is a carnauba wax, carnauba is an oil in the wax. This will actually absorb into the paint. You want it to absorb into the paint, its the easiest way to describe it of all my times of being in a business, using a carnauba wax is putting hand cream on hands. Its absorbing. If you put a hand cream on, you want it to go into the pores and take out the dry skin. Thats what a carnauba wax will do your paint, it will get in the pores of the paint, it will actually feed the paint.

HOLY ****!!!! I know that dude. A friend took his 2003 Cobra to him. He ****ed it up. He picked the car up and there was mud passenger side footwell, the right rear rim had not been cleaned, and the bumpers, and roof did not look to have been waxed. He asked him to fix it and he wiped the rim down with a wet greasy rag, then took a bottle of something soapy sprayed the mud and wiped it out with paper towels no vac'ing, and waxed the roof and bumpers in about 5 mins. Guy is a hack.

Wow, just wow, amazing. The production and quality of the video is the best part (along with a nifty car), pretty much everything else scares me.



Wait, I know what is going on here, this guy's shtick is to give people bad advice so he can then properly detail the car.

I made it about 3 minutes into the first video and just couldn't take it anymore. My wife even knows you don't use 409 or Fantastik to clean your car with. WHAT A(Language removed by mods) Please for the love of all things that are holy contact that Bentley dealership and tell them how much his hosing their cars up!
 
The word "PRO" only means:

A. Someone excepts money for their trade.

or

B. Has a business card made with their name on it.

or

C. Has a business name licensed.



A "MASTER PRO" means they have:



D. All the above.
 
oh my. the pain. oh my. oh my. I just sent this to my dad labeled as "What not to do when cleaning a car of any sorts."

I am a novice when it comes to detailing but even I know not to do the things he does.



In the first video he says for the wheels, tires to use an older wash mitt, then when he is washing the car he says to use the same mitt that he just washed the car with on the tires, wheels, wheel wells.



Incredible that he has a Bentley to demo on and he is actually in business. That is just sad!



But I did finally learn how a carnauba wax works, i had no idea it is just an oil in the wax :tumblewee
