QEW question

I ordered some QEW to get me by until I can get a water tank and all that goes with it. My only question about this is how do you do wheels/wheel wells? After I'm done do I go back and clean them with QEW too? I'm going to be doing some work in a couple office parks and don't want to have the EPA breathing down my neck because I washed a car with *gasp* water. I'd also feel more professional not having to ask to use someones water.

I used my normal wheel, tire, and well routine. I'd spray down the tire and well with a cleaner / degreaser (meg's safe degreaser) let dwell, scrub the well and tire. Then I would use a dedicated qew bucket and mit to wash the rim. Lastly I took the mit with qew and would wipe off the degreaser/cleaner on the well and tire to remove that cleaner. After washing with qew, dry the tire, rim, and well with a terry to dry and dress with your dressings.

I had the same question at first but this method worked alright for me.

I really liked using QEW on the wells of chevy silverados. The wells in the back are painted with the regular body paint. Something in the QEW (maybe some sort of wax) made the wells look real shiny and waxed.

Good luck
