QEW, how the hell did i ever live without it.

Since im up at college in an apt, i used to have to use the coin op, took and hour or so, cost 5 bucks in change, and since the place was a craphole, my car would get dirty by kicking up mud when i drove out. Now, it takes me a half hour at most to wash my car, and costs me pennies. Man this stuff is gooood.:xyxthumbs :xyxthumbs
 
I used QEW for the first time this weekend on my '90 Mustang. Pouring down rain and I was washing my car in the garage. Neighbors thought I was nuts! Worked like a charm. Will become a staple in my regimen for sure.
 
I know it has allowed me to build a pretty good mobile detailing business without having to buy a truck, van or trailer.

Actually, I had a couple of neighbors come over and ask some questions and I got a couple of new customers out of it!

I too wonder how I lived without QEW. I like to keep my cars really clean, have 3 of them, and do not have a garage. With QEW I have cut my wash time to about 15 minutes (or less) per vehicle, and this includes the rims.
 
I ordered a 16 oz bottle from Camping World in Bowling Green Ky. for a test run. Might be the perfect item to encourage me to drive my garage queen more than 1000 miles a year.

Will report back with my results (novice user) on non-metallic black. Someone else's of course. :D
 
blkz28conv, not sure if price is a good deal, i've never purchased it before, but i did just order that very same deal you asked about. i'll let you know how it goes. seems like a good price to me. i pay like $12 for my zymol carwash now and this seems to use up less product than that so hopefully it is a good deal. i too was confused about that same carnuba comment. i thnk they are referring to that paint polish and cleaner wipes and sponge as far as the carnuba.
 
Thanks ntwillie 1. I did order one bottle (16 oz) from Ky for testing which should arrive by Friday. Camping World states they ship the same day for AM orders and QEW was in stock. I hate UPS Ground from California and companies that state "allow 2 weeks for delivery". :(

I ordered this special last time they had it and it took a week maybe less to get it in texas.





It comes with a pre moistened sponge of some kind of protectant with carnuba in it. I didn't use it so I don't know if it is any good but I think that is what they were referring to.





If you ordered from camping world be prepared to be flooded with junk mail. I get at least one piece a week since I oredered from them.
 
Yeah, I just ordered that 2 for $10 package. It seems like a good deal, and I haven't tried it yet.



It sounds great, though, as I'll be going away to Univ. of Michigan next fall.



Hopefully no coin-op places for me!;)

I alternate using the Protect All Polish and Klasse AIO on my factory alloys on the Volvo. Protect All Polish is a pretty nice product; easy on and off (dries clear on the wheels) and leaves the wheel nice and slick.
