Qd ?

Do any QD's contain wax? I didn't think they did but I wasn't sure if some did? What in the QD exatly gives the extra shine if no wax is involved.

There are a lot of different spray formulas that people cal "QD's". Duragloss, CG, etc..etc..Some are spray waxes and some are not.

What could you look for on the container to know if it contained a wax? Say Meguiar's Quick Detailer.

I’m guessing that marketing hype and label copy being what they are you’re not going to find any reliable way of telling whether various products contain wax that’s consistent from company to company.



Obviously the ones that say “wax� on them do.



Meg’s usually uses phrases like “long lasting protection� on waxes and sealants.



None of Meg’s QDs contain waxes or sealants. I don’t know if the bottles say that or not. I got it from Meg’s employees.
