QD protection

just wondering if z8 or z6 offers any protection, or any other QD. if a vehicle does not have any polish or wax do any QD's offer protection and if so, for how long? thanks in advance

Z8 and other spray sealants offer *some* protection, but in gerneral, quick detailers don't leave anything that would last past a wash.

i would say Z8 is extremely potent as far as protective qualities...i don't consider them a QD product at all. true QD sprays are just for light cleaning and extra gloss/shine, IMO (such as Z6).
