QD as window/glass cleaner

Does anyone else here use QD as a window cleaner? I usually use windex but I had some Mother's quick detailer and was using it to get the water spots out after I washed the car. Then I used it to clean windows and realized it worked surprisingly well.

i only use a dedicated glass cleaner for the inside (have tinted windows), but other than that i use a QD or spray wax on the windows as i do the paint...

Never used QD as a window cleaner, but now use ONR at normal dilutuion exclusively for both inside and outside windows. Use a low nap MF well rung out to wipe the window then dry with a another MF or better a MF designed for glass. We've even started using it for the windows in the house and the definately stay cleaner longer.

I use UQD on windows (exterior) and on interior (other than windshield) in a pinch.

Just make sure to not over dose or make sure u dry throughly. I once had smears using FK425.

At one time I used Poorboy's S&W a lot for windows and it worked very well but then it is also considered a waterless wash.

I agree that Mother's Showtime works very well as a glass cleaner.

I personally only clean windows right now with CK QuickShine. Its cleans well and leaves no streaks. Causes rain to bead up nicely.

Indeed, I am almost inclined to just buy it as a window cleaner.

x3 on the mothers, i spray my windows along with the paint.

That's right, it does smell like cinnamon...

I normally clean windows with Clearkote's Quikshine. Not only gets them clean but also makes the water bead up and roll off a lot longer than RainX does.

Some places sell quikshine as actually making rain bead up on windows, looks like something to try in the future
