QD after EX-P

wait 24 hours as (if you mean PB QD+) since it is a carnuba - let the sealant cure first - (if you mean S&W) then no problem.

I would wait at least 24 hours before using any QD product. If you don't apply it too thickly, EX-P wipes off very cleanly and easily. There's no need to use a QD right away.

I really wish that PB would make a QD that is bassed on the resins in EX-P. That way you can renew EX-P the same way you can renew EX with the current QD+. Instead of QD+ Carnauba, we need a QD+ Resins!

Pretty much what I figured thanks

Uhm, Steve, are you there ?

yes I'm here ...:) no plans on another QD at this time...just put another coat of EX-P on:D isn't it easy enough:dunno

I have never understood why you would put a QD on top of a new application of EX, EX-P, UPP, NXT, or any other sealant or wax. It seems like the best looking finish is obtained when wiping of the sealant or wax and adding a QD takes away from it.
Just my opinion!

A lot of people put waxes on top of sealants for that "extra" look. Poorboy's QD contains carnuba so applying it to a sealant is almost like topping with a wax.

QD's used for EX-P:

1Z Lackfinish

Sonus Acrilic Spritz

Megs LT

Zaino Z6

All work quite well with EX-P.

Deanski
