PwC on Corolla, NICE!

zesty-man

how do ya like it?
today i spent time doing a camry. i wanted to test of PwC, but i had no car to test it on at home. so, i told my mom to tell her friend that ill detail her car. i wanted to try out the PwC so bad, i offered to do it for free, and she said yes :). i dont know what it is with old asian ladies and corollas, they just seem to love them..... i think this is my 4th corolla that im doing. this corolla was a 2000, but looks can be DECIEVING!!!! its true, silver really hides imperfections. silver is sorta like a corset, it hides everything........... man, they car needed a clay badly. its out in the sun all day and all night. the windows, for some reason ,were really sticky. when i tried using stoners on the windows, i literally could not move the mf. so i decided to clay the windows, and it came out all well. i learned that it takes really long to do all those little things...... PwC only took about 30-45 min to apply and remove, but stuff like cleaning the windows, that took LONG. anyways, heres my steps......

4 star wash
Poorboys clay
PwC
Armor all "detailers advantage" (trim)
Goo gone (the inside of the door)
Stoners Invisible Glass (glass.....)
TOL Wheel cleaner (rims)
Some stuff ranney gave me for cleaning tires, not sure what its called
BnB (tires)
SSR 2.5 (for this once place that i couldnt get to with the PC)

total time: not sure on this one....... im such a IDIOT...... when i went out to lunch, i had the windows down on the corolla, because i wanted to get the very top of the windows. and i managed to leave the keys in the car, WITH THE WINDOWS DOWN, AND DOOR UNLOCKED. i guess it was a lucky thing for me, my gate was closed, and i had a garud dog :). i would estimate maybe 3-4 hours.

BnB really impressed me. ranney was right, if i prep the tires before dressing, it looks A LOT better, and goes on more evenly. also, i got this "tire dressing applicator" from TOL. its pretty cool, because its head rotates as you move it around the tire. also, the rims look really nice!

another hood shot. from this it looks like the car is white, but it was actually silver. i was amazed how slick and "soft" the car felt with PwC.

First rate. Any before pictures? Does Ranney sell this special Hawaiian brew? Also, you are lucky the car was not stolen.

no before pics :(. however, what i can say is that the car looks pretty swirl free (silver), but the paint looked really dull, and the windows were especially hazy. PwC really brough out the color.

as for that stuff ranney gave me, i forgot what i was called. this concoction is not sold on pakshak, it was osmething ranney just gave and said to try out, because he can get it in mass quantity for a wholesale price somwhere in hawaii. basically, when you spray this stuff on a dirty tire, you can see the suds get brown and stuff. its really cool, then you scrub to get it off. so baiscally, it cleans the tire, so you can get ready to dress it. you have to take a shower before you put on a tux rite?

yea, i was really lucky it wasnt stolen. then again, there isnt much crime around, and my trusty garud dog was on duty

Zesty, another top job, thanks for sharing the pics with us. I really like PwC on light colour, and I like it's cleaning ability as well :bigups .

ps: Will PwC remove light scratches ?

thanks for the comment cheeze. it seems that you and i are the only ones up at this time. its probably the afternoon for you.... anyways, im not sure if PwC will remove light scratches because, well there werent any scractches on this car. sorry i couldnt help

Looks really great.
My wife has a friend that always compliments her on her car and says she, "Sure wished mine looked like that". I told my wife I would do the friends car. Now I just hope I can come close to doing as good a job as you did.

:bigups

WOW! That is a fantastic job!Really fine work zesty. Btw I read on this site that the brown that comes out/off the tires when you clean them is not a good thing. Something about it's in the tire for protection.:dunno
