PwC again after EX-P?

I know some of you guys think I am really dense but this is really alot of info to learn, so those of you still patient I have more questions.

Planning on what to do this week-end.
Right now I have a layer of EX-P.
I would like another couple of layers of sealant before Natty's (correct?)
So, need to wash this week's dirt off.
Do I clay and PwC again?
Won't that take off last week's layer of sealant?
Or go straight to the EX-P?

Also, I have been using Meg's QD during the week to get the bug guts and sap off.
Am I also taking off the sealant?

Thanks,
Suzanna

Once you have put on EX-P, you don't need to clay and polish again for another 4-6 months. If you did, you'd be starting over every time because you would be taking off the EX-P with the polish. If you want to put another layer of EX-P on the existing coat, all you need to do beforehand is a really thorough wash. Whether or not you need another layer of sealant is up to you. Personally, I only use 1 coat of EX-P, but I put multiple coats of Natty's on top of that. Multiple layers of sealant won't hurt though.

The QD isn't taking off the sealant. It needs something a little more abrasive to take it off.

+ 1 for EX-P and Nattys. Borrowed my neighbor some Nattys for his truck.he absolutely love it and i would have to agree with him that his truck is looking nicer then ever.

Yup, just put on another coat of EXP. PwC and claying will bring you back to the beginning again. After 3 coats of the EXP you can start on the Natty's.

Agreed, no need to polish right now since you've just recently gotten your EX-P application done. But, don't agree about the claying. Depending on your local driving conditions it can be necessary to at least spot clay much more frequently than the period stated. Whether you have a single application or three, no one can tell you definitively what that period is, only you and your vehicle's finish will know for sure :)

I agree it would be a waste, but if you applied it by hand, would it still remove the EX-P?

I'm going to say yes. It is a chemical cleaner so some of it will probably be removed. Plus there is no point to doing this either. Ex-P and Natty's have more durability too. As for the clay, it may need it before, but in general once or twice a year will suffice.

It has been my experience that is is rare for me to go even two months without having to break out the clay, and I live in a pretty "clean" environment (ie. most roads are paved with concrete, no heavy industry emitting chemical fallout etc.).
