Pull your hair out with this puzzle. :-)

Only two things can be told:



1) The name of the game, Petals Around the Rose, is significant.

2) The answer is always either zero or an even number

It took me a few minutes to figure it out and while I had the idea, I did not try guessing any answers first.

I'm sorry, but that is the STUPIDEST "game" I've ever wasted 10 minutes on. I figured it out but why on earth would anyone waste their time infecting anyone else with it's logic?

Show me a logic game/puzzle that isn't stupid. It really is simple: if you do not like the puzzle then do not try to figure it out.
