This one was done at a parking garage in Midtown.

Client wanted full correction on the paint, the remainder of the clear bra removed and basic interior detail.

The client recently had a GT3 RS front nose clip installed. He wanted the clear bra removed from the following areas: hood, front fenders, mirrors, door ends/handles and aft wheel well sections.

Client had told me that there was not a water faucet in site so I brought plenty of water in my zaino buckets with the lids installed and two 5 gallon jugs that I picked up from US plastics a while back.

New tires are going on this coming week, so the client said don't worry about those.

Process:

QEW wash

Clear bra removed with an assist from my VX5000 steamer.

Adhesive left from the edges of clear bra removed with 3M adhesive remover.

Clay

Straight IPA wipe down.

M105/Surbuf 7" pad/G110 V2

M205/Black LC flat pad/G110 V2

QEW wash again to remove dust.

BFWD

Z8 to finish.

QEW wash wheels.

Interior

Thorough vacuum

Interior wiped down with cockpit premium

All leather got Zaino Z9/10.

Glass clean with IG.

After wetsanding and M105/surbuf polishing. No final polishing yet.

wow, that clear bra looks awful. Dull and without luster. I am almost certain that's an Avery film, based on my personal experience as a customer.

Very nice Bryan, Last picture looks awesome man. Ok a ? for ya. PC7424xp or G110V2 which do you prefer? Again great work man!

It had quite the dullness.

Surbuf pads for the win on the Porsche.

They beat any orange pad easily with the DA.

On a black lexus, I had more correction with a tangerine pad then the surbuf. Just depends on the paint.

Thanks Barry!

I've only used the V2 on 2 vehicles so far. So far I like it more then the XPPC, less vibes and can take more pressure (if needed.) The feel is also better on the V2.

you digging the G110V2 more so than the PC7424, and any noticable differences?

Thanks Big Al!

As noted above, V2 wins so far.

Only thing missing is more pics of the great work :)

Wonderful job and I hope the client appreciates you being able to work your talents in such confinements as no running water. I like the challenge that mobile work brings: you have to limit yourself (how much you can bring, how comfortable you'll be, etc) but still reach unlimited results (there's no such thing as "well I worked mobile on this one so holograms are ok" )

Great work!
