I had polished this clients S65 and F430 over 18 months ago.

He told me that he had taken the S65 to a local hack shop in town, but as you can see it was a waste of $300.

As soon as I arrived on scene and inspected the paint, I called Bret in on the job. I knew we where in for a full day of fun.

Interior-The clients interiors are always in pretty good condition.

The interior received the following:

Vac-Bret always spends plenty of time making sure every bit of debris is removed from the carpet. He uses brushes and compressed air while vacuuming.

All leather surfaces (a lot of leather in this interior) where cleaned with Z9 and conditioned with Z10. The client is a Z10 junky, he just loves the smell.

All wood surfaces are hand polished with ZAIO.

Glass cleaned to perfection with IG and a quality WW.

The alcantara headliner was wiped down with a damp short nap MF.

Bret and I returned a few weeks later. I did a new car prep on his DBS (coming soon) while Bret cleaned up his V-Rod (coming soon.) Bret then washed the S65, applied Z8 to the paint and Z-16 to the tires.

Bryan awesome job, is there anything KBM doesn't fix? :bigups Have you had the pleasure of feeling the power in that beast?

Even though I am in a Steeler coma (ugh!), I can recognize great work when I see it!

Thanks for sharing!

Did you offer to take the owner to the woodshed if he ever went back to that hack shop?

Nice pictures!

Gotta love the Surbuf pads! They work wonders with the DA even on some extremely hard paints.

Thanks Soarer5! Have not found anything that the KBM can't fix yet. I wish, just drove it in and out of the garage.

Thanks Moe! You can't win the SB every year.... I'm pretty sure he understands what proper paint correction is all about now.

Thank you! The hard paints or severe defects is where the surbuf pads really shine.

gmblack3a- Great job, those SurBufs certainly work well for you.

And residual oils issues from the M205? One wash doesn't sound like much of a "de-oiling" and I'm guessing that the Z5 is somewhat finicky in that regard...

What can you tell us about the EF Tire Cleaner? I use a lot of EFHI, but I somehow never tried the Tire Cleaner.

Looks awesome! How long were the work times for the 105/205? I have heard of the those polishes flashing (breaking down) pretty quick or you will do more harm than good if you continue to polish ... Any advice?

I've never had an issue with UF, 106ff or 085RD followed by a wash and applying Zaino. I have not seen any issues with the same process with M205 and Zaino.

Thank you AZ Ferrari Man! Please see my sig for tips on using M105 with an orange pad or the surbuf pad. Using a properly primed orange pad with M105/PC lets you have a longer working time then using a rotary with something like M105/wool.

Excellent as always! Just a quick question, where are you getting your surbuf pads from?

Thanks Labster! From surbuf, google is your friend.

Bryan, would this be the correct pad to use?

Surbuf Products :: R Series

How many pads were required to do this car, Surbuf & white LC?

I'm taking notes!:thx

Yes the R series are what I use. If you detail from home or a shop, then you can wash the surbuf pads easily, spin out on a rotary and reuse right away. So 2 will work for that situation or 4 if you are mobile.

Cleaning the surbuf pads after each panel or when the M105 appears to be getting caked up on the pad. Use a stiffer brush, then blow compressed air over the pad.

4 LC flat white from CMA w/ M205 as you don't want to use them when they are wet. I use the LC black flats from CMA for softer clears.
