I don't know if anybody has seen this stuff, but it is a professional line of just about everything you could possibly think of in the world of automotive detailing, there inventory is HUGE:shocked and what's interesting is they make products that are designed to tackle a specific task and not just do many things at once. I must say, I admire them and they have been around since the 30's. So what do you all think about this, anyone ever used the stuff before????? If so, what's your opnions and thoughts on it. Here's there site>>>>>>>www.prowax.com

Intel486 worships this stuff. I've used it many years ago when I had a detailing biz; nice stuff. Only prob is that it's really not available to the public unless your local dist will sell it to you.

Intel does love it, he brags about it alot and tells how good it is, and all, hehe:D I would love to get some after I have recovered from the holiday budget:p LOL!

I'll be sticking with Meguiars myself. Not that there is anything wrong with Prowax; I've heard great things about them, but Meguiars has just as extensive a product line and I have a local distributer. No waiting, no shipping costs, etc.

BTW, Meguiars has been in business since 1902! Prowax or Meguiars, you are dealing with a company that has been around a long time.

I 2nd that scottwax. Both meguiars and prowax have been around a very long time, the longest?? either way both are good line of detailing equipment.

For an all in one wax Fastrack is the best.

P-40 the best light compound/cleaner ever!

Fast trak really isn't a all in one... it is more of a quick wax. I can use it to wax a f/s truck in about 15mins applying it and buffing it off by hand. I mix it about 1/3 Satin Creme 2/3 Fast trak

I've gotten somewhat away from the P-40 DUZ-all since I was introduced to P-11. P-11 is awesome but it does take a rotary to use and someone to show you how to use it. It cuts through light scratches, oxidation, and cobweb swirls like nobodys business.

Intel,

Was wondering how difficult the cut and swirl marks are to remove with p-11? I like p-40 because it is not as aggressive.

A second pass is all that is needed to get the heavier stuff out without heavy cut marks or swirls.

Do you use it with a wool pad or foam?

It is very agressive. One run through with P-11 will get all light scratches and cobweb swirls out. Deeper scratches you will have to work at.

I use Pro's Yellow Foam Waffle Pad with this stuff.

The great thing I love about it is how it gives a clear surface when your done. It doesn't haze the paint like DUZ-all does.

DUZ-all isn't that agressive. It is really more of a cleaner. I was having a lot of trouble removing scratches with it, which is why I switched to P-11.

Hmmmmmm, as i page through my catalog here seems as if P-20 and P-26 are almost the same thing, only P-20 looks to be more aggressive because here it says it can 1000-1200 grit sandpaper marks and while P-26 can remove 1200-1500 sand scratches. I'm not real fond of heavy cut compounds but 1 shot with them over the paint and bye bye everything except the clearcoat, hehe. I don't see P-11 in my catalog but I do see P-27-Q Ultimate cutter!! says it's thick, highly aggressive and can remove 800 grit sand scratches, !!!!!!!???????? that must be some serious stuff LOL!!! I'm going to for sure get some of this stuff after the holidays are gone and spring starts too roll around. This is my list so far, still not sure if this is what I want yet, but here it is:

1.) P-26 clear cut compound, or does it haze the paint???

2.) P-21 Swirl Eliminator and Polish

3.) P-35-H Satin Creme

4.) W-41 Yellow Wax, for looks! hehe

5.) S-76 QDS

6.) Half Gallon of Cherry Suds, this looks like some badass car wash!!! lol

This is the list for now, maybe I will add some more stuff to it till the green rolls back in, lol

I heard someone else say something them now having a product called that. I haven't seen it at my dist. yet. If I see a gallon I might pick it up. Depends how much they want for it as I just got another gal of Miracle Wax and some Satin Creme. Still have a whole gallon of Fast Trak left too.. Think I have too much wax.

Edit: Ohh can't forget I also have a quart of Profection :D

What's your opinion on Profection Intel?

I like it. Got a whole quart of it. It also doesn't take a lot to wax a car. Can go on really thin and it buffs off easily.

I know 1 person who wants me to send them a sample. If I can find a place that I can easily get a large amount of sample bottles, then I'll send people samples of it as long as they pay shipping. I'll see what I can find this weekend.
