Promotion idea?

Well, with Halloween approaching, I came up with an idea to promote my new mobile detailing bidness How about with every hand full of candy, each kid gets a business card? Anyone ever do this? Any thoughts on the idea - pros/cons?

I'd say it’s a good idea if you want to detail hot wheels!



Actually, I think most of the kiddos would discard the BC instead of giving it to their parents.

I think you might receive some negative reactions from that promotional idea. Halloween is a kids day, I would seek business opportunities elsewhere.

You can always make some halloween special up w/ some special discount.



Alos, as you hand candy out to kids, hand a flyer to the parents. Or just stick your truck out infront of your house w/ a sign on it and maybe put a light on the sign so people can read it. Actually, that's a good idea. I'm gonna have to do it Lots of parents walk around on halloween.



Older kids wouldn't give the BC to their parents anyways so you'll have to go w/ the younger kids who have their parents w/ them.

NYD - thats exactly why my car(s) stay either in the garage, or under my watchful eye 100% of the time on halloween.....



also why when my new carport is installed tomorrow or friday, I gotta get me some lighting mounted under it by haloween.

I had that idea sort of once. I was thinking about opeining a window repair business. My advertising would be me throwing a brick with my business card tied to it through local windows. LOL I decided against the idea after much thought. lol
