Sounds like another S&W. Anyone given this a try? I saw it a local department store.

Description from site;

Prolong Waterless Wash & Shine is a revolutionary new way to wash your car in 15 minutes or less, anywhere and anytime. Simply spray on and wipe - no need for buckets, hoses, sponge or chamois, and no mess to clean up. It is specially formulated to clean safely without scratching, leaving a beautiful just-waxed, professional finish.

Washes and shines in 15 minutes or less

Quick and easy with no bucket or hoses and no mess

Will not scratch your car's surface

Citrus-based formula even removes tar, bugs, sap and bird droppings

The citrus bothers me, wouldn't that remove LSP?

HAHA...let her try and lift the boxes I send you:-p ;)

Prolong=Dri-Wash :nono a quick search will give you any of the answers you are looking for:)

Actually, did you see that guy, the Prolong CEO, jump into that tank of water with two power drills on full blast. He is trying to prove the protection of the Prolong product. I guess that's why I'm not a CEO. I'd make the guy that invented the product jump into the water.

Steve,

Where did you search to get that info? I didn't find any Prolong threads here or at Autopia. Google was even more useless. :hurl I also doubt the assesment unless DWG has changed their formula. I used DWG before and it was a milky green substance sprayed from a pump bottle that you applied and let dry to a haze like a wax. Prolong stuff looks like an S&W or QD type of product.

My S&W supply is healthy and cheaper than this stuff but I am curious about this one.

Somehow, when I think of "Prolong", I think of a whole nother type of product....

Hey Steve will you be getting your own version of Miss Prolong ??

Miss PoorBoys World ! has a nice ring to it huh .

I used the Prolong stuff back in my "noob" days. It was cheap and available at my local Pep Boys. It did a decent job for the most part, but I have educated myself about other products out there and have moved on.
