Project Silverado: Part 1

My roommate has an '86 Chevy short-wide truck and we are beginning what is going to be a LONG project to fix it into a street rod type truck (lowered, 18" wheels, custom interior, etc.). It is currently all original, except for wheels. This weekend we worked on the front end for a couple of hours.

Wow, I think you'd get plenty of looks with the entire body looking like the hood and front quarter panel!! Impressive.



Give us a look at the stock truck finished up before you customize it (wheels, tires, etc...). I love seeing cars that should be in bad shape looking showroom fresh.
 
Will do. We might finish up the oxidation issues this weekend, but it will take a couple of months to get to all the chrome and trim, glass, etc.
