Name a few products that stunned you concerning their effectiveness and performance.

I'll go first.

BFWD The best sealant I ever used ... A total suprise on the looks

G|techniq C1 Crystal Lacquer .... A exterior coating. Just like and a coat of clear.

Clearkote's Carnauba Moose. Never expected a liquid carnauba out of a bottle to not only look so good, but to have pretty decent durability too.

New version of ONR. I wasn't expecting such a noticeable improvement in gloss.

Wolfgang Fuzion. I believe that prep > any wax, no matter how much it costs, so I am not big on expensive waxes but Fuzion surprised me with how good it looks and how well it holds up.

+1 on the BFWD!

I've also been impressed with Opti-Coat so far too.

The one that comes immediately to mind is M105. I resisted that stuff for *ages*, but once I finally tried it I was simply blown away. I was absolutely predisposed towards not being favorably impressed, too...man-oh-man was I wrong about that! Had to hurry up and buy plenty of V1.0 as I liked it better than the newer stuff.

Optimum Power Clean - tires & wells

ONR - cheaper to use for clay lube than Speed Shine

Vinegar/Distlled Water - removes water spots as per the 1z site

Seafoam Bugs B Gone - alternative to 1z Insekt

Griot's Undercarriage spray - great on clean wells/reasonable clean suspension. Gets rid of some tar if you aply then wipe back off.

ONR = I keep finding uses for it . Great rinseless wash, decent QD and window cleaner, excellent clay lube

PoorBoys Polish w/Sealant = This is my goto for quick 1/step details (family/friends) and it's effectiveness is pad dependent

Turtle Wax Express Shine = very good spray wax for the price, very good durability for a spray wax.

In no real order (still on vacaction and high as a Georgia pine)

M105, Menzerna 203, AW, Majestic Solutions - Tidal Wave, Super Green, Bug Off, Wheel Brite, Poly Pro, Showroom Shine, AutoMagic HD cleaner,(for carpet) Blue Clay, BFWD, Cyclo, Edge pads on Cyclo, DG car wash,

Corona, 20 oz steaks, DQ blizzards,

will add more:

OCW, since I started using it (pretty much use it exclusively now) I have recieved more comments about it's durability from customers than I have with any other LSP.

M105, pretty much everything to say about this product has already been said.

Mother's Chrome Polish, and Mother's Mag and Aluminum polish really impress me every time I use them.

Optimum Car Wax, for ease and looks, buying a gallon.

Ultima Tire and Trim Guard, the best exterior dressing, going on 4 months and no garage.

Optimum spray compound and polish, need to use it on more cars, but so far a winner.

Megs Wheel Brightener. I stared at my wheels for like 3 days.

Wife thought I had lost it.

Awesome product and only $18 a gallon plus you can dilute it.

Megs 105 continues to impress me. The cut:finish is incredible.

Duragloss 105/111/AW are long time favorites that I did not originally expect to like, but now use constantly.

One no one has mentioned: Chemical Guys Grim Reaper - it just seems to work amazingly well for me, whether its cleaning tires, wheel wells, bugs, exhaust tips...

I really need to try some BFWD.

Turtle Wax ICE Synthetic Spray Wax.

Was blown away by the insane beading....high and tight and very round. I have been using it only on the roof of my truck (a little test) and the beading is very different than the other horizontal surfaces. Also looks nice, easy to use, and I like the funky sprayer. The smell could be better, but it is tolerable.

Nanoskin products for their incredible performance. Long lasting, look great and superhydrophobic.

Sonax Dashboard. The best interior cleaner/antistatic.

Dodo Juice Finger Pads. So easy to apply wax evenly.

Lake Country Purple Foam buffing pads. So easy to use, and control

Leatherique, simply the best leather conditioner available.

Ive always thought about starting thread like that

Best product ever used was leatherque, Best thing i ever used from my detailing supply ever. I was happier then ever when i used it on my dads Volvo. and 85rd + bfwd =wet paint look. so far the best, i have m105 and a lot of good products but they basically my first and still using all of them, have payed lots of cash for them! :dance

I still consider ONR to be the most amazing/revolutionary detailing product I've ever used. A complete game changer for me.

Other products that exceeded my expectations (but not to the level of ONR) include OCW and M105.
