someone should post a quick startup list of products to buy. maybe a couple of list. 3 maybe. all ranging in prices and giving the basics for a detail... been reading a lot on the forum and on autopia from people buying the wrong products for their first details.

u know. a list to make their first purchases easier and less expensive, so later on they can upgrade for products they feel wan a change from.

that way they dont just buy a real expensive was(souveren paste) and still use the same tools they were usign before they found the site. therfore, their details will be better, and they'll get a general idea of what proper techinique and good products can do.

example: instead of them going str8 to souveren or fmj or using the more expensive boutique products, they could get some ex-p and nattys. and little by little upgrade... i know my first order broke my pockets, and still left me with some much needed tools/supplies. right now i actually have everything i need, anything else i get is either a refill or just to try somehting new.

IIRC there were about two such threads started last week where people listed their favorite products. I'll see if I can find them.....

.....and here's the first two off the first search page. Maybe these can help with someone's decision in the future.

yea. just like that, but made into a sticky in the newbie forum. something very specific and sort of like a guide.

and then people could post what their list is and estimate of how much all of it would come out to.
basics like

wash
waffle weave
lube/clay
polish
sealant
wax
window cleaner
trim
rubber

i think with a hundred bucks u could probably get some good products that serve those puirposes
