Products staining driveway?

alaint

Was wondering if anyone else had the problem of products staining a asphalt driveway. I can tell where the vehicle sits from washing,,and not sure if it is the shampoo or the all-purpose cleaner I use for wheels and wheelwells,,but it really fades the black pavement and makes it look kinda crappy . It fades where ever the pavement gets wet ,,so I think it must be the shampoo,,which is liquid glass wash. Maybe need to switch wash soap ?? Thanks

I've never heard anything about the soap fading the paint. Might be a good idea to switch though.

I know dressings can stain pavement.

Maybe have your driveway pressurewashed?

What often happens on concrete is that the the tire shine keeps part of the driveway dry even when its raining. It looks dry while the rest of the driveway gets water into the concrete. You may want to pull your car onto the street to apply tire shine or seal you entire driveway with tire shine .

I found the best way to keep tire dressing off the conrete is to use an applicator to apply it. I simple spray it onto the applciator and then wipe it around the tire.

Of course, I don't like a high shine on my tires.

I don't know if this will work on protectant stains, but for oil stains I've always had success using Tide laundry detergent and a brush. Just get a little water on the spot and pour some detergent on it and scrub away. Works great. It may work well for the wheel cleaner stains too.
