Products from local Auto supply store?

Hi,

First timer,

Are products available from local auto supply store ok.

I was planning on picking one manufacturer and using all their products, like Mothers or something like that.

-Car Washing Soap
-Rim cleaner
-Tire cleaner
-Interior dressing
-Mothers California Gold Ultimate Wax system

-All by hand
-using cloth diapers

Should work ok, right?
 
Both the Meguiar's line, and the Mothers line of products are very good. Either one has a full line of products that will suit your needs. Some Auto Parts stores carry the Meguiar's professional line of products (tan bottles). These products are somewhat better than the Mothers products, or the Meguiar's commercial line of products. Still, if you use the Mothers Ultimate system correctly, I'm sure you will be very pleased.

One last thing........... if you're going to use diapers, make sure your vehicle is spotless all through the process, as diapers have little knap to pull up the dirt/residue, and can cause scratches/swirls because of this. Some thick knap 100% terry towels, or some quality MF towels might be a better choice.
