Product to maintain Optimum Gloss Coat?

I am going to be detailing and applying Optimum Gloss Coat as a gift. This is my first experience with GC. Is there something I can give them to use after a wash to maintain or boost it? Similar to using Reload with CQuartz.

Dunno, but I've used the pbl coating booster as a drying agent as well as pbl coating detailer same way.

A lot less finicky

I'd go with a liter of CarPro Reset. And maybe a Autopia Foamaster foam gun or nice wash mitt. Buckets with grit guards are a must of course.

Get a good car wash and keep it clean

1 x per year iron X

4 times per year wash with reset.

Its pretty bullet proof

In my experience with Gloss coat and opticoat 2.0 no toppers really stick for long.

These coatings are not slick, but they clean easily, look fantastic and wear like iron.

How is Optimums QD? Would it work as a good booster?

In my experiences with Optimum Coatings, they dont really require a booster as other coatings do..
They just keep going.. I dont remember them ever selling a "booster" that had to be used on them.

The only thing I have ever done to my vehicle with their coating is wash it with CarPro Reset and dry it..

I am sure you can put anything on it you feel will make it look "better" etc., but its not going to stick very long before it comes off the coating..
Certainly, their QD would be fine to use as well..

I just applied gloss coat to my uncles car and I left him a bottle of ultimate quik wax and ultimate quik detailer from Meguiar's to use every now and then. Other than that I told him to just wash it.

Coatings are tricky in terms of potentially doing more harm than good by topping them. If the manufacturer doesn't recommend a maintenance product, just wash it with a coating specific wash such as provided by carpro or pinnacle. Also be careful with rinseless and waterless washes. They aren't all coating friendly although they work the same.
