I am a sucker for informercials. I have the glass wizard, that rubber brush thingy, Mr.Clean Autodry...and probably 10 other things like that (my favorite it the flip and fold!! my closet looks like the gap now!).
I never buy them off tv (S&H>?? nah). I get them at Bed Bath and Beyond!!
- they seem to carry all the gimmicks. The last time I was in there I picked up this product called LeatherCPR. (www.leatherCPR.com). I have never seen nor heard of it but the queen of clean (no idea who she is either :lol) recommends it.
Anyhooo - it comes in a small tub. Inside the lid is a good sized square sponge that springs out at you when you open it up. The package comes with directions in the lid as well. Basically the schpeel is it emulsifies dirt and grime, lifting it away from the leather and conditions it with lanolin, leaving it soft and supple but never greasy or oily. It's ph balanced and safe for all leathers except for suede and untreated leather.
It looks like, well, ..how to put delicately...(ya me delicate) - let's just say it's an whiteish, opauqe, thick liquid..cum on I know you know what i mean:lmfao
Well..I took the plunge and tried it on my driver's seat. I dipped the tip in the spooge, then wiped off the excess on the lid. Using the flat side of the square sponge, I wiped it on the front of the seat (where your thighs go). That was basically it, wipe on, wait 30-60 seconds, wipe off with clean MF. That was it.
Did it work? You BET! I was amazed and surprised. It did not leave any greasy mess behind, it was not shiney at all but had a nice deep matte sheen and the leather felt soft. I was amazed. It acutally did what it said it did (not like that damn personal groomer thing...eyebrow trimmer my ass!).
I did the rest of the interior - it was fast and I loved the look!. I'm planning on using it for my weekly cleaning, supplimenting my monthly Platinum clean and treat. A tub is 9 bucks and since you don't use a lot - it will probably last me a year.
(p.s. - I just used it on my leather jacket to get it ready for the coming fall/winter - again - amazing - fast clean and it looks brand spanking new!)
