COME AT ME BRO
I came across these towels as I was looking for some to replace my more worn out ones that have been demoted to things other than paint work. I hadn’t seen many (if any at all) reviews on them, so I was kind of going out on a limb. I had heard that the CG MF towels were not the best quality out there, but after looking them over and thinking about it for a little bit, I decided to give them a try.
Ultra-Plush Super Premium Microfiber Micro-Banded 8.75mm Thick Supra MF Towel (16” x 16”)
Packaging: Packaged in a plastic bag, shipped inside a standard shipping box. Shipping could have been quicker, but then again, maybe I am just spoiled by the shipping of others.
Price: $3.75USD for one towel. $9.63USD for package of three towels.
Directions: No directions. No labels or tags (hoo-ray!) sewn into the towel edging.
Product: The Ultra-Plush Super Premium 8.75mm supra MF Towel (what a name…) is blue in color, with a darker blue MF border. One side is very plush, while the other side resembles a more traditional MF towel. Size is 16” x 16”.
Usage: My Tacoma was moderately dusty from sitting in the garage and driving (one day). After giving them their initial wash, I used this towel to perform my usually daily wipe down with Poorboy’s S&W. I used the plushest side to wipe the S&W after spraying, and flipped the towel to perform my secondary wipe. I felt that the towel held the dust away from the surface, holding it in the nap. I inspected the towel closely after wiping, and it seemed that it did a pretty good job of this. I also inspected closely for new marring, but did not notice anything under the fluorescent lighting. I feel like the towel also held quite a bit of moisture, and that I might could have performed the wipe down with one towel, but I chose not to do so.
Conclusion: I find this to be a very nice towel. I liked using it for waterless washing. I think a couple of these could take the place of my usual waterless wash/wipe down towel – the Microtex big blue towel that I have from Wal-Mart. It also has a plusher side and a more close napped side, like these towels do. Overall, it was a nice addition to my MF collection, and I think it will be seeing a lot of use.
