Two questions:
1. My Mercedes clear-coat wheels have developed some sort of "slime" on them. It resists P21S, Eagle A2Z, and Purple Power. It's sort of like lightly and randomly "brushed" on, mostly around the exterior rim and spokes. The center section is clean. If I scrape at the film with my fingernail it comes off pretty easy. The clear-coat seems unharmed. Since I'm not scraping all four wheels with my fingernail, what are other suggestions?
2. What's a good glass polish? I'm done with my bottle of Griot's, which worked ok but I did get tired of the epic residue.
Thanks,
LNER
Edit: I should add that I clean the wheels once a week with plenty of agitation, so they stay clean. This just seems like a new issue.
