I just received some Poorboy's Waterless wash and I was wondering if it was OK to dilute this? I am unsure whether or not it affects the product's ability to dry/remove dirt without hurting my finish. I am all for diluting product to make it last longer but not at the detriment to my paint.



Also, does anyone know a 'local' place (ie autozone) where you can get backing plates for a rotary. I have a makita and purchased some new pads and they don't fit on the plate I had for my old pads and it took FOREVER to get my stuff from autogeek so i want an alternative.

I have diluted S&W with distilled water by 1/3 and didn't like it as much. Now I just use it straight .... it's really not that expensive by the gallon anyway.



Try NAPA, they carry most of the Meguiars products and might have backing plates. Ask at the counter if you don't see as not all of the non-consumer type products are on the shelves.
