Black G35
Here are the current results of my process that keeps changing every so often but I am most fond of this process so far.

Wash with Sheep skin mit and PB Soap.
Griots Clay bar with PB S&W
PB SSR1 X 2 (Just to be sure, it is black) PC 4.5 speed Griots Orange Pad
Mazerna FPII X 2 (New Favioite Polish)
UPP X 2 (24 hrs apart) Griots Red Pad
Natty's Blue X 1 (Love the Clarity) Needed to Spit Shine, left it on for 2 Hrs
P21S X 1(Love the Color)

Let me know what you think, could add another product for just to add to the insanity.

A liquid pool....Looks incredible!

That hood shot is amazing!

Another product? After that regimen I suggest Heineken....

Day 1 was Wash, Clay, SSR1 and Polish
The it was not much time as each coat of UPP only takes about an hour or so but had to wait for each coat to sure.

Hand: Wash, clay Bar, Natty's and P21s
Orbital, SSR1, FPII, UPP

that paint is clearer than most of the ferraris and porsches ive seen around.

looks great. i drool for black!

tip: try to always use y're flash and keep u're setting on manual when shooting pics. even if theres full sun out. makes smaller things details come out and show more.

Thanks Guys, The verticle portion of the deck lid has a bit of orange peel as it did not come to swell from the factory but I may wet sand that this spring. Its a shame I have to drive it especially since it snowed today.

Obviously looks good. You asked what we think about your process so I will make a comment. I think SSR 1 x 2 and FP II x 2 is redundant. They are both light finishing polishes. You could use either one but no need for both. You basically did a light finishing polish x 4.

Nice work. Black is such a pain. LOL

No way I would own a black car. I would be in an insane asylum very quickly if I did own one. I'm way too obsessive with cars to own a black one.

I like how you put down the products and the pads you used very helpful. And of course you car shines like no other very nice.

Infinity has some of the best paint finishes in production cars. I am amazed at how little OP is on most of the vehicles i see.
