I have a jeep wrangler and I have the same problem with my findergaurds. I've tried everything and I'm not having much luck. I started to use rubbing compound, and I think if I work at it long enough that may do the trick... If it is not that bad, I recommend trying grease lightning orange wheel cleaner- I sware by that product. If you find something please let me know.

I'd be worried of marring the plastic. Rubbing compound, as far as I know, isn't intended for plastic. Post pics of your progress, if you can.

As to the white circles, it could be wax residue, or even fingerprints and oxidation. Try using a plastic restorer, such as PB's Trim Restorer or Mother's Back to Black (can be used on all colors). A toothbrush can help get the product into all the textured grooves. Afterwards, dress it with an appropriate dressing.

Sounds like it could be wax build up. Depending on the s-10's age, it may be the color fading out. I'd try a toothbrush and a small dab of toothpaste. the toothpaste is abrasive enough to get into the texture. Should the trim look faded...try some liquid shoe polish. Shoe plolish is a dye, it will run, so be carefull..let it dry thencoat with your favorite dressing.......D.
