problems w/ AW over natty's blue?

After completing my 8 hr detail of IP/30% RMG > FP II > RMG > EX-P > Natty's Blue my paint was dripping wet. This morning i decided to add a layer of AW. After applying it, my finish seem to dull a little bit and became a little more reflective but less wet. Anyone have similar experiences. I'll post some pictures tomorrow.

did you wait a bit for the AW to cure to see if you like the look? It would be fine to slap another coat of NB on top of AW if you want.

There was a post here with some one that used AW over nattys and was impressed with the wet look...He had a gold SUV I believe...

Did you let the EX-P cure before you applied the Nattys...In your post you said you applied RMG..EX-P..Nattys... if you did not let EX-P cure and applied nattys right over it..there may be your problem...

But as said others have put AW over natty's and have not sen any bad results...not that it can not happen.....

But I would wit 24 hours for sealant to cure...apply wax...wait a day...apply AW..you may see a difference...

i waited 24 hrs before i applied nattys' blue...and just to be safe...i waited overnight before i applied AW over the natty's blue...just to ensure enough time to let the NB cure....im not saying that the finish is not stunning...but it doesnt seem as wet...the finish now reminds me of a a little wetter version of s100...tomorrow im going to take pics...n then take some after pics..after i apply another layer of natty's blue..

Yes, as others have said, you can apply another coat of Natty's. It's just a carnauba over the AW which is a polymer.

I just applied AW over FK's Pink Wax and although I love the look, I understand what you are talking about. It took some of the glow, shimmer and depth of PW and made it a bit more reflective. Just the difference between a full polymer and something with carnauba in it to me.

The PW provided a bit of a mute on the finish which was fine because of the lovely glow and then the AW brought out more reflection. A nice combination of both to me.

The Natty's is wetter than the PW so you are likely seeing more of a difference than I see.

I reckon it's just up to you to decide which you like best but before you do, give the AW a day or so to cure and/or possibly do a few layers of it 24 hours apart.

Ok I understand what your saying now..

when I did my hood in all duragloss products..I got the wet look....maybe because they work together...but the rest of my truck is or was klasse twins and collinite..with the AW on it I get the sealant gloss look...

sealants and carnauba can give 2 different looks....

you can apply the nattys over the AW to get the wet look back..no need to strip anything...you should be fine doing that
