Problem Hood

this car's hood was already in bad shape with scratches, but it was neglected for a couple weeks, and the geckos got to it. any advice???

it looks ok in the first picture, but this time i was smart. i took the picture at 2048 resolution, and resized it in the first pic. heres what the problem i was looking at is.

It's kind of hard to tell from the pics, but some of those scratches look like they are down to the undercoat. If that's the case, IMHO, the best you can do is make it look better with your PC and SSR3, 2.5, and 1. Scratches will still be there, but not as noticable.

hmmm, i tried running over it with ssr 2.5. i think you are correct that the scratches are down to the undercoat, and there was nothing that i could do about it. as for the gecko stuff, the ssr 2.5 seemed to do the job, but still, theres just a little bit that i cant seem to get off.
