Hey guys-

Did some work on a members '03 Berlina S2000 today. He was looking for someone who did good work, but also wanted to be taught some things so he can better do the work himself for times to come. I was more than willing to oblige, and had a great time doing it. :) Anyways, like I said this was a complete paint recondition. It's an '03 with ~66,000 miles and to the best of his and my knowledge, never been detailed. There were tons of swirls, scratches, marring, etc. all of which needed to be corrected, and was.

Products used:

Poorboy's SSR2.5 w/ CCS yellow

Poorboy's SSR1.0 w/CCS Orange

Menzerna 106FF w/ CCS Orange and white

Meguiars NXT w/ CCS Black

Lusso Oro by hand massage

Detailers Domain blue MF towels

CD2 Engine Detailer

Meguiars NXT Extreme Tire Shine

Meguiars Gold Class Car Shampoo

etc.

very nice. two quick questions, how many coats of nxt did you do? and any tips on applying lusso oro on the S since honda paint is relatively soft?

Is the quarter panel/trunk getting repainted soon or something, what happened to it?

lol, thats where the Lusso Oro was already applied and I was letting it properly set.

And I did one coat of NXT since I actually ran out of it while doing this car. :( And I apply LUsso Oro by hand, literally. Warm it up in my hands and rub it on the car. :)
